Tonight we stood outside our base camp staring straight up at the glowing clouds, through the camera the whole sky was filled with green light from the northern lights. We watched as the brightness increased and then faded again, the brightest points of the northern lights could be seen moving around behind the cloud. The occasional star showed up above us but the northern lights slowly moved south so the brightest light was south of our viewing spot. But we could all see that we had spent the whole evening directly under the northern lights, through the camera the whole sky stayed bright green. And on the way home a large male moose posed beside the road for us all to get a good look at him, what a proud animal he was.
