Crystal clear sky and a shooting star 19.09.2019

Tonight the sky was so clear, then just as we arrived at our base camp a bright shooting star cut across the sky above us. What a positive arrival to our base camp, a real Lapland Welcome. We watched and waited once at our viewing spot, and a few more shooting stars were spotted, some wishes made also. The northern lights were low in the sky and very pale, their changing brightness gave away their position, so we knew exactly where to watch. Then they brightened just enough to catch my eye, and just long enough to get a picture of this. While our guests enjoyed the fireside glow and the wilderness experience, we kept watch for more activity.
