Fooled by the northern lights at the start of April fools day 31-03-22 April 3, 2022

The northern lights tonight had a new trick to play, they were a colour
I have never seen before. As the twilight faded there was what looked
like an arc across the sky but it also looked like the light reflecting
off the cloud, a difficult one. Through the camera this patchy arc was a
very strange plum red/purple and pink and it was a while before it was
dark enough to rule out other factors leaving just the one, it was the
northern lights, just a colour I have never seen in my 9 years of
chasing the northern lights. Wow something new, I always tell that you
will never see all the variations but tonight once again the northern
lights were unique!
