Fresh snow sparkling in our torch light 14.11.2019

We stopped to check the sky at our usual spots, we saw stars and patches of clear sky at both of them but no signs yet of the northern lights. We climbed up to our hilltop and once we arrived to our viewing location the stars began to appear, one by one as our little hill top began to open up the cloud above us. The sky to the west also began to clear, it was cloud covered when we started to walk up our hill but the clear strip began to increase and was coming towards us. As I explained the creation of the northern lights we watched the sky above continue to clear, more and more stars becoming visible, the moon though was lurking behind thicker cloud. A shaft of firelight escaping from the open the Kohta door was drawing us all towards it, food and drink enjoyed to some tales of  life in Lapland around the fire. We had time to share some Lappish shamanism, time to explore our futures and to take a story home after our night together.
