While we were in the warm and under lights we helped set up the clients cameras, we left ready for action. We left behind a hazy river valley to arrive to our first spotting place to see pale northern lights hiding in the moon light, the sky was quite clear above so we had hope. We arrived to our wilderness location to find clearer sky but still the same pale northern lights, we took many pictures just to make sure we left with something. The northern lights and folk law explained, the warm fireside was drawing us around it. The food and warm drinks enjoyed, we had time to experience some Lappish shamanism. The chance to explore or positive future experiences was so exciting, it was going well until the northern lights finally showed up, « EVERY ONE OUT » and there they were. A bright band of northern lights with tall pillars of lights wandering along it. The northern lights made us wait tonight, but it was worth it, what there was to see we saw!
