We left Rovaniemi in the hope of getting away from it’s thick cover of clouds. On our first two stops, it seemed like a tough night coming up as the clouds kept being right above us. But things changed when we arrived at the hilltop. The later the evening got, the more the sky cleared and at the end we were able to see an amazing sky full of stars. Just on our way back to town, we saw some northern lights beginning to appear. Of course we had to stop our cars, set up our cameras, and admire the beautiful night sky and the northern lights we’ve all been waiting for.
