Lapland was the place to be tonight 11.02.2022 February 11, 2022

We arrived to our wilderness destination just in time for the northern lights display to begin. Pale but huge pillars of light reached up into space, they became brighter so the full arc of the northern lights could be seen. We hurried to our viewing spot as the northern lights took control of the sky, the moon watched on as the northern lights traveled south, this was their night. The northern lights just kept on surging south, bright burst of northern lights rippling across the sky. Tonight Lapland was the place to be, oh what a night! By the end of the trip we had to move to the northern end of our site to view the northern lights now well to the south of our location, this really was a special night and the journey back to town was under a sky full of northern lights.
