We watched the sky very carefully as the daylight faded into twilight,
the sky gradually darkening revealing the first stars. When we arrived
at out hill top viewing location we could by now see an arc of
brightness across the sky, quickly snatching the first all important
pictures with our visitors through the camera you could also see a pale
green haze identifying a second and much higher arc of the northern
lights, and once it brightened and dance for us it really was the event
we all hoped for. Wow what a night we had, once the northern lights
faded the fire side and our Lappish shamanism became a whole new
experience for our visitors.
