Wow, a whole sky full of northern lights 20.02.2022 February 20, 2022

Just after we arrived to our wilderness location, the northern lights became just visible low down in the sky. Once we arrived to our actual viewing spot a few minutes later, the northern lights arc was brighter and rising higher in the sky, now above the tree tops forming our horizon. Quickly the camera was set up to capture those all important pictures of our guests with the northern lights behind them. The northern lights continued their journey south, the next surge in brightness was a good reason to leave the fireside to watch the leading tips of the northern lights go over our heads, as they stretched south in their quest to take control of the whole sky. What a moment this was! We still had time to share our Lappish shamanism, but the northern lights were the story to take home tonight, they conquered the whole sky while we watched over the evening.
