ATV Safari in Lapland

Round tour in the Lapland wilderness

ATV driving is great fun, especially the big 500 cc bikes that we can drive also on public roads. On this safari we drive several days in the forest roads and paths enjoying the nature and making pictures.

Modern ATVs are very silent and petrol consumption is very low so they are ecological vehicles. They are easy and nice to drive. We drive on little forest roads and paths respecting  the nature and following wildlife. We make often breaks for photographing or just admiring the scenery. We have got impressive natural views and forests on the way. We often see animals like reindeer, moose, snow hares, big birds and red foxes on our way.

The 1st day 

Your guide fetches you from Rovaniemi airport. Transfer to Hotel Katkavaara (Tervola), sauna and dinner.

The 2nd day

Safari adventure begins. Introduction to ATVs and safety. Driving across the wilderness and the new suggested South-West Lapland national park finally reaching the big lake Vietonen at the Arctic Circle. Sauna and dinner in a cottage by the lake. We have a chance to swim in the lake. Meals provided and comfortable accommodation.

The 3rd day

Across the wilderness. Today we drive across the wilderness and try some fishing in a wilderness lake. Lunch by the lake by open fire. Overnight in a hotel which was once forestry school. Meals provided and comfortable accommodation.

The 4th day

Crossing the biggest river in Finland. Today we continue driving by crossing Kemi river. We drive across the wilderness where we enjoy our lunch as well. After crossing the river again we will see mountain Pisavaara and continue back to Katkavaara, Tervola. Sauna, outdoor bath tube and meals provided, comfortable accommodation.

The 5th day

Transfer to Rovaniemi airport. Good bye Lapland wilderness forests!

1990 Euros / adult twin driving, for min 2 adults, without flights. By solo driving 2390 Euros / adult. Children over 12 years can join as passengers by price 980 euros / child. Private tour starting any day that is suitable for you.
