Northern Lights Snowmobile Adventure Safari

Our legendary Northern Lights snowmobile safari package offers you spotting the lights on the best possible place and a great adventure by modern snowmobiles

ARRIVAL DAY

Arrival to Rovaniemi. Transfer to the wilderness. Winter clothing by special winter overalls and other equipment. Dinner buffet. We start the snowmobile safari in the dark. We cross treeless Katka Fell and have a break for watching the sky. If the weather is clear we have good opportunities to see the Northern Lights. We drive to a wilderness farm cottage to stay the night. Shower and sauna available in the cottage.

THE SECOND DAY

Breakfast in the cottage. We drive back to the summit of Katka Fell for watching the breath taking scenery over the wilderness. In the afternoon we drive to the swamp area for seeing natural swamps in the area and after trying some ice fishing finally back to the cottage. Sauna and dinner in the cottage. Great place for seeing the lights again.

THE THIRD DAY 

Breakfast. The safari continues across a large nature reservation. Today the challenge is the long driving distance. Good opportunities to see wild animals. In the afternoon we arrive to Rovaniemi city, where we stay the last night in a nice comfortable hotel. Sauna in the hotel. Chance to buy souvenirs.  Night clubs in town.

DEPARTURE DAY

Breakfast. Transfer to the Rovaniemi airport.

Snowmobiling gear; Helmet, snowmobiling suit, shoes, gloves. Snowmobile rental and fuel, motor vehicle insurance, organizer’s liability insurance. Guide services, services in English. Accommodations in cottages and hotels like in the program, breakfasts and dinners at the places of accommodation, snacks on the tracks. Local transfers. Driving 1 person / snowmobile.
