Snowmobile Adventure Safari

TUESDAY

Arrival to Rovaniemi. Transfer to the hotel in the city. Dinner.

WEDNESDAY

Winter clothing by special winter overalls and other equipment. Some  information about snowmobiles, driving and safety. On the first safari day we drive on river Ounasjoki and across the huge wilderness finally arriving to a wilderness hotel in the late afternoon. Sauna and dinner.

THURSDAY

Today we try snowshoes on our way for ice fishing. In afternoon kick sledding and sledding. Very beautiful scenery on the fell. Sauna and dinner. An evening trip for watching the Northern Lights. Snacks in a tepee. The lights might appear if the sky is clear.

FRIDAY

Today we start our snowmobiles again driving a pretty long distance across huge swamps arriving to the city centre in late afternoon. Accommodation in a hotel in the city center. Sauna and dinner.

SATURDAY

Transfer to the airport.

INCLUDING

Local transfers. Snowmobiling gear: Helmet, snowmobiling suit, shoes, gloves; snowmobile rental and fuel; motor vehicle insurance, organiser’s liability insurance; guide services, services in English; accommodations like in the itinerary; breakfasts and dinners at the places of accommodation, snacks or lunch on the tracks. Driving 1 person / snowmobile. Option: Book more days and choose more activities. Offered in January – April.

PRICING

1490 € / person with full board and solo driving snowmobiles. Instead of Thursday’s activities you may drive the snowmobile also on Thursday if you prefer. All starting days are possible, but it maybe affects to the pricing.
