Tonight as we made our way out into the wilderness we stopped once to check out the sky, the arc of the northern lights was across the sky and it was so tall, a huge display though only very pale at this point. As we made our way up to our hill top viewing spot the northern lights became a little brighter, we could see tall streaks of light reaching high up into space. Once at the viewing spot we waited and watched while the creation of the northern lights was explained, the northern lights remaining pale for this. Though the oh so clear starry sky was so beautiful just to stare at, some of our guests tried lying on their backs just to watch the sky. Then once we were attracted to the glow of the fire and had gathered around this then the pale fuzzy band of the northern lights began to change into tall streaks of light moving along the band. The display was so large our pictures only could fit a small piece of the display into them, but through the camera what an explosion of colour was happening right before our very eyes. Wow what a trip this was, fun and laughter around the fire after the display to complete the experience.
