Perfect location and perfect timing 09-09-24
Tonight our location was perfect and our timing of standing under our
clear sky was incredible. The first signs of the northern lights display
appeared as the sky darkened, we could not wait for the twilight to
fade. Some time around the fire while the day light faded away, this
ended with a call to come and watch the sky, the show was on! Tall
pillars of light reaching up into space above us, wow what a sight.
Sausages abandoned around the fire as we watched the light show across
the sky. From this point on when ever we were outside the light show
returned to dance for us, traveling back through the landscape was
difficult as we had to keep stopping to watch yet another burst of
northern lights. What lucky visitors we had tonight.
