Northern lights dancing with thin cloud over our heads. 14-09-24
Tonight the northern lights soon brightened enough for us to get our
first pictures of the northern lights hiding on the edge of this cloud.
From this point on the northern lights brightened and faded as time
passed, what we needed was the cloud to open. We searched for clear sky
to watch the northern lights performing, at one viewing spot we watched
several bands of the northern lights curving across the sky above us.
The northern lights brightened and faded and then brightened again
giving us lots of opportunities to take photographs and watch the power
of nature performing above our heads.
