We made good use of the journey out into the wilderness tonight. Stopping to take photographs at 3 different locations. With the last stop catching quite a bright burst of activity from the northern lights. From our final viewing place -the hill top- the northern lights continued to brighten and then fade: more photo opportunities. Then on the way back we met a young moose crossing the road. It ran ahead of us for a short distance before heading into the forest. Shortly after this we stopped to watch the brightest burst of northern lights activity of the night. Wow what a time we had! The northern lights were with us for the whole night!
