The fireside glow through the door of the khota illuminated the landscape, we were drawn inside by instinct, some strong natural force. The group sat around the fire and after a few stories we shared some Lappish shamanism, our future spelled out in the form of the tin and its shadow cast by torch light. Some surprises and some laughs as we shared this unique moment in our lives, distant travelers pulled together by sharing life a experience around the fire. And in one shadow it was clear, a reindeer plain for all to see would be positive in the future for one of our guests. The whole group now assembled we enjoyed food and warm drinks, but most of all tonight the sharing of stories and the magic of this location left a lasting impression.
