Tonight the full moon was hiding behind the cloud as we walked up to our favorite viewing spot on the hill top. The fresh snow from earlier today made the whole landscape looked untouched, last nights tracks covered over and lost. The whole landscape was visible in the silvery grey light from our hill top. The fire though was irresistible, the orange light drawing us around it to warm food and talk. The warm drinks smoothed the atmosphere and it was time for some Lappish shamanism, time to discover what the future holds for us. This shared experience around the fire is such a good way of giving our visitors a story to take home, something Finnish to remember.
