We arrived to our base camp to find the sky just starting to clear revealing such bright stars in a dark black sky. The northern lights soon began to brighten and so as soon as we were ready we headed up the hill to our viewing location, the whole group had just arrived when the northern lights became brighter and began to stretch south above our hill top location. Tall fingers of light reaching up into space above us, wow what a treat for our guests. The northern lights would brighten then fade but just kept creeping south, the tall streaks of light moving across the sky was such a reward for taking the chance something might happen. The smooth fresh snow from yesterday making the landscape look so fresh and bright, a perfect landscape for the northern lights to dance above.
