We had just got to our hill top viewing spot and begun explaining the creation of the northern lights when they showed up. Tall shafts of brightness forming an arc across the sky, but through the camera what an amazing sight. So much colour in the photographs, our guests could not believe their luck we simply did not have to wait and the display just kept going. The shooting stars were determined to be noticed also, bright streaks across the sky every now and then, so some wishes were made tonight on our little hill top.
