3 moose and some northern lights 29-10-23 October 31, 2023

As we made our way out to our destination in the wilderness we spotted
the dark silhouettes of 3 large moose standing on a field beside the
road, the hazy moonlight illuminating the snow covered landscape allowed
us to watch them run off and head back into the forest. Once at our
viewing location the thin cloud began to open up, first one star then 2
then many more became visible. The large hole in the cloud we ended up
with  we were able to spot weak stripes of brightness reaching up into
space above us, the northern lights were active. The patches of
brightness came and went with one clearly green just to confirm that
this was the northern lights teasing us in the bright moonlight.
