An arctic hare ran across the road in front of us as we headed out into
the wilderness under a bright clear sky. The northern lights though were
not going to make this easy, however right at the end of our trip they
allowed us some time to watch and photograph them. It was a very
beautiful moonlit night in Lapland, and the dance to encourage the
northern lights to perform worked so well, a great initiative from 4 of
our guests tonight! And our return journey was an opportunity to see our
largest wild animal a moose, a mother and baby crossing the road as we
drove back to town. Our wildlife in Lapland is always a welcome addition
to any safari!
