Our safari ended to a Grande Finale 13-09-24
Despite it being Friday the 13th we had high hopes for tonight, we
spotted the first signs of northern lights directly overhead at our last
stop to check the sky on our way to our viewing spot. The northern
lights were visible for the rest of our time out in the wilderness,
brightening from time to time. However just as we were setting out back
our group needed to back track to make the most of a powerful burst of
northern lights. Wow what a sight after an already great night with the
northern lights, we could not even drive back to town without sudden
stops to watch yet another bright burst of northern lights over our
heads.
