Northern lights and a meteorite 25-08-24
Tonight some time around the fire to allow the cloud to break up, then
off to chase the northern lights. The sky cleared for us to stare and
try to spot the northern lights and sure enough they began to appear.
The northern lights played a game of hide and seek with the thin cloud
but finally the sky cleared again to reveal the arc of the northern
lights reaching out across the sky from the west. Time to get the oh so
important pictures, and then just as we though the show was over a so so
bright meteorite burned up with a bright white streak ending in a bright
white flash. What a moment to witness, another amazing moment making the
time with us so special.
