Dancing hare in the moonlight, 26.10.2018

Tonight as we made our way to our base camp we were stopped by a young mountain (arctic) hare dancing on the road in the moonlight for us. No pictures I am afraid but quite a special moment to witness this little
animal’s performance. Finaly it ran off into the forest and out of sight, but quite possible still dancing the moonlit night away. The cloud opened from time to time for us and we could catch the northern lights clearly
through the camera, the brightness visible to the naked eye. And as always the fireside glow was as welcoming as ever and the hot chocolate was popular on this cool evening.
