As we left town tonight we saw the moon rising over and reflected on the mirror smooth surface of the river Kemi, what a start to our safari. At our usual stopping place we got our first sighting of the northern lights and took some pictures. The arc of the northern lights ended in the half moon in the east and faded into the horizon in the west, such a perfect arc and so tall. We watched for a while before moving on, long enough to get some nice pictures of the northern lights. Later around the flickering light of our fire, we once again explored our futures. Well what can I say, again laughter and smiles around the fire, such fun, such promise for the future!
