The journey up to our magical viewing location was an exercise in animal foot prints in the snow identification. The local wild animals had been out since the last snow fell leaving crisp clear paw prints in the soft layer of snow covering the older harder snow underneath. Mountain hares or snow hares had been around with a fox following, all looking for something to eat. The firelight lit up our faces as we enjoyed the food and warm drinks, there was time to share our Lappish shamanism with our guests. Some strong, clear indications to chase their ambitions for some guests and for one a surprising piece of financial news. And on the way back beside the road we found a lonely reindeer hoofing the snow away to get at the grass underneath.
