Out in the wilderness the sky opened above us 11.11.21 November 11, 2021

As we got closer to our destination we spotted stars above us. Pulling off the road to stop and check the situation reveals such bright stars in an opening sky. We hurried to our destination, just a little further and yes the sky was clear. We walked to our viewing spot and from there we could see a band of brightness across the sky to the north. Sure enough just a hint of northern lights were there to welcome us. We watched while the northern lights were explained, and finally the glow of the fire from around the Teepee door hole became too irresistible for us, time for wilderness treats and warm drinks. As we waited our guests got to experience some Lappish shamanism, for one client it was a return to his roots.
