Shooting stars and some northern lights to keep the moon company 23.10.2021 October 23, 2021

Clear sky over a snow covered Lapland under a bright moon, to add the final touch to this masterpiece. We stopped to admire the bright clear sky on our way out into the wilderness, our first chance to check out the conditions. As we walked on from our base camp to our viewing location the northern lights rushed across the northern sky, tall pillars of light dancing, reaching up into the stars, just what we were hoping for. Shooting stars would also streak across the sky, many wishes made tonight under the arctic night sky.
