As we made our way out into the wilderness tonight a huge example of the
Lapland owl flew across the road in front of us, wow what a beautiful
bird to encounter. The twilight fading slowly and the thin patchy cloud
kept the sky full of pale northern lights hidden for a while, but sure
enough we were able to point them out to our visitors and we even got
some brighter moments to appreciate them. What a beautiful night to end
our season, thank you mother nature.
